My S.O. and I are preparing to leave for Burning Man in 6 days! I was looking at the activities on the website today and there was one about learning to see auras. I would love to attend that!
There's also gonna be a "green fairy" party where people will be encouraged to wear fairy costumes and drink absinthe- certain types of which are now legal in America! Mmm.
I made a drawing of Min earlier this evening. I wanted to make a new photo gallery called "Drawings" but apparently I don't have permission to create a new gallery, whatever that means. Maybe the galleries are having a bug?
Anyway, here's the link to it at DeviantArt: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/53400258/
It just occurred to me that my birthday (in this life) is really close to Beltane. It's April 28th. I just never thought about it in that way before.
Not as good as being born on Beltane, but I'll take it!
The interesting thing about that in context of this year is I'm gonna be 21, and legal to drink in America. So there will be much debauchery, as is befitting of the season ;)
I found this place following a link in someone's signature on MysticWicks... Seems pretty swank!
Anywhooo, I'm a 20-going-on-21 university acting student originally from New York. I'm also very interested in music/singing. I've been involved in paganism for....geez, it's hard to say how long anymore. Five years? That sounds about right. Ever since I discovered that "How to Uncover Your Past Lives" book in a New-Age book store. Although I suppose even when I was little, I had inklings of the faith I have now, I just couldn't put a name to yet :)
Past lives and self-discovery are a large part of my faith. I read tarot cards, I dream, I meditate. I wear the septagram. My patron god is Min, an Egyptian god who the Greeks associated with their Pan. As you can see I'm rather ecclectic.
If you want to know more, let's get to know each other :)
